Help Around The House 

Let's get this out of the way first: Arcturus found a letter in the mailbox.

"Can't we be together"?
Did she get bonked on the head or something?

Anyway, Arcturus had a real problem keeping his house clean. Dirty dishes were everywhere and old newspapers lined the front lawn. This game is so dumb that it takes about one hour to clean a single dish. He doesn't have that kind of time. I only recently remembered that you can hire a maid to fix all those problems though. Arcturus picked up the phone.

The maid made her first appearance later that night. She could've waited until morning but Arcturus's coked up call made it seem like it was a real dirt emergency. Arcturus had left the front door open so she just walked in. He was making dinner at the time, completely spaced out.

Braindead.

"Oh, hey.. an lik,... who're you ?"

The maid cleaned up some things while Arcturus ate. Then, she went into his bedroom to make the bed. Making a bed moments before the person gets back into it seems dumb, but she was being paid by the hour.

When she finished with the bed and had nothing left to clean, she stood staring at the wall for hours before Arcturus came in and told her to get out. He was forced to pay her for all the time she looked at the wall. Shame he didn't realize how odd it was that she was cleaning his room for several hours though. Arcturus went to bed as soon as she left.

The maid showed up again early the next morning. Arcturus was still in bed when she walked in. (I forgot. He doesn't lock his front door ever.) Realizing that everything was as clean as when she left a few hours earlier, she took some food out of the fridge and sat down to eat. Then, she brushed her teeth in the kitchen sink and left. She was paid for the time, of course.
