The Cure 

Arcturus did some alchemy research every now and then but he recently became obsessed when he saw the end goal within reach. He could find a cure for the supernatural by the end of the week.

Every morning, several hours were spent studying in his secret room. Most of those hours were spent looking at his Perry poster though. Lovin' dat poster.

He visited the magic store in the afternoons to discuss his findings with the new employee. (It seemed Ranier had moved on, tired of the oppression from the new shop owner.). He needed a certain few ingredients for the potion he had in mind but the magic shop wouldn't restock with different items until their current stock was gone. This resulted in Arcturus buying almost everything they had each day.

There were some visits to the local grocery store for the more common ingredients he knew he would need.

With no time to fix his TV, he called a repairman. Nights were spent reading through alchemy books he picked up at the library on his way home from the magic shop.

All his work consumed so much time that he forgot to pay his bills. The repo woman came and took his Perry poster. I wondered why she didn't take something more valuable, but what could be worth more than something you truly love.

Finally, at the end of the week, Arcturus felt he had enough knowledge and the right ingredients to create what he needed without blowing up his home.

He had done it. This was the "potent cure elixir". It could turn any supernatural creature into a human again. He went into the living room and sat down to think about the ramifications of such a discovery.
